Group Classes

Through hands-on, practical, fun classes, you can learn how to create authentic Bangladeshi feasts! 


Group classes are limited to 10-12 participants to ensure a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. All classes are taught by Tiger Kitchen Founder Shahnaz.  In our 2.5 hour session we will go through an introduction to key spices and ingredients used in Bangladeshi cookery, and go on to prepare a full menu. 

As part of the class you will receive:


  • A welcome drink and some sample tasters on arrival

  • Printed recipe cards to take home with you

  • Discount vouchers for future classes

  • An edible treat to take home with you

  • get to take home the feast you made in class!

Private Classes

Can't make one of our scheduled group classes? We can offer you bespoke private group classes on request!
Our private group classes make ideal alternative birthday parties, team building days, or family days out. We can accomodate groups of up to 10 people and can cater for a range of ages and abilities, from novices to pros! Just drop us a line and we'll get back to you.

Bengali Vegetarian Dinner | Cooking Class


In this 2.5 hour class we will prepare a traditional Bengali vegetarian menu that encompasses the holy trinity of Bengali cuisine: rice, lentils and fresh vegetables. Vegan options available.


  • Chana bhaja | spiced chickpea curry

  • Doi begun | aubergine chunks in aromatic yogurt

  • Jeera pulao | cumin rice

  • Piaz salad | Red onion and tomato salad with a garlic and lemon dressing

Bengali Brunch | Cooking Class


In this 2.5 hour class we will prepare a traditional Bengali brunch, including the original recipe for 'kitchuri' (or kedgeree) and a spicy twist on the traditional English omelette.

  • Dim biran | omelette with onion and chilli

  • Kitchuri | basmati rice with red lentils and vegetables 

  • Masala cha | milky tea with cardamom and cinnamon

  • Aam lassi | mango smoothie
